WEEK 11 (28th Jun – 2nd Jul 2021)- Finalizing 5 design ideas

Material Sourcing

Material sourcing is the step in determining the suitable fabric in order to execute their function effectively. Students are required to compose a sample material board with swatches of fabric and detailing used in their collection.

1. state description for 15 ideation and tech draw

Plaid Pattern we choose

During week 11 , we discuss about the plaid pattern ,I suggest on the colour and pattern because it looks retro and the colour match looks unique so that each of us design will be consistent and in a same style

While Aimee draw the model drawing as our template for us to easy make the cut and paste. Adeline guide us for the inspiration board, where we put all the style we like to help us get more ideas on the design.

 

Above are my final 5 design that I made , during tutorial we given feedback that we should add descriptions to each of our design .

At first, i do not know how the fashion product description should be like , so end up i go google to search for some info , where i looked through some fashion website ,at the same time making some research on how others clothing website write their description in details.

I looked through SHEIN website to look on how their description wrote , it is clear and straight-foward way for their description , and i decided to use their way and put to ours.

Beside, i also do some little research on types of plaid , where each of them have different name and patterns to put on our descriptions.
