WEEK 9 -10 Garment Construction

Garment construction is a technical accomplishment that requires the knowledge and skills of basic sewing techniques.

In week 6 we learnt about garment construction and , it is a Clothing construction refers to the stitching of garments and all the sewing techniques involved in the process.

GARMENT CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE 

This is why I made from the practice , it is a front view of sky blue summer blouse,I include some little description to it, where the sleeves is short and in cap sleeve.For collar ,is notched.

WEEK 9 (14th – 18th Jun 2021)- Progress design and development

Design Innovation (cut and paste)

From the inspiration, students can start creating the design collection by experimenting on cut & paste technique manual or digital to identify new design and silhouette for fashion. Next, illustrate the design in complete line drawing and technical drawing.

• 15 designs cut & paste method (sir will choose 6 ideas)

• Sketch out the design after cut & paste

PROGRESS IN WEEK 9-10 (TECHNICAL DRAWING)

 First , i try to sketch out the outline of my design clothing .

During week 10 , we learnt about technical drawing for our practice and assignment  , each of us in the group make our own 2 design. The progress was quite hard at first , where making the clipping art for the pattern. Sooner , it getting easier and smooth.

Overall, we received positive feedback from Sir, who stated that it appeared to be a collection, and I love how it turned out. It was a great experience doing technical drawing.
